In short
Osmosis Kiteboarding is the kite, foil and wing centre on the beach of Club Paradisio El Gouna, in the south of El Gouna, and it works two spots. Right in front of the station is deep water with no reef to cross, for riders who can stay upwind and for kite foiling and wingfoiling. Lessons take place on a large sandbank of standing-depth water with a sandy bottom, a short boat ride out, and they still run at low tide.
It is the only school on our El Gouna hotel beaches with group courses: €300 for 6 hours in a group of 3 to 4, against €445 semi-private and €525 private, equipment included (school price list, October 2026). Instructors are VDWS or IKO certified and teach in English, German, French or Arabic, and four rescue boats cover the water. Close to the shore the wind can be gusty, so the beach team helps you launch and land.

- Never kited and watching the budget: the group course, 3 to 4 students per instructor, from €135 for 3 hours.
- Want more attention: the same courses semi-private (2 students) or private, on the sandbank lagoon.
- Had lessons before: a refresh course on the lagoon, in a group or privately.
- Riding, but not yet safe in deep water: a 3-hour supervision session on the lagoon, or private coaching.
- Confident in deep water: rent or store your gear and launch from the beach in front of the hotel.
- Foilers: private kite foil lessons, and private or semi-private wing foil lessons with walkie-talkie coaching.
The spot
Wind and conditions at the station
The station sits on the Club Paradisio beach. Right in front is the deep-water spot: no reef to cross, flat water at low tide and a small wind wave out in the channel. The minimum level here is safe riding in deep water, including going upwind. Beginners and riders who are not yet independent use the sandbank lagoon, which the school calls the largest in El Gouna: steady wind, a mostly sandy bottom and no obstacles. Students go out by speedboat, and advanced riders can kite there through the channel.
Close to the shore the wind can be gusty, because the station sits slightly in a wind shadow, and the beach team helps with launching and landing. More about the season in our El Gouna kitesurf guide.

Safety and equipment
Four rescue boats, surveillance during opening hours and a beach team for launching and landing. Rental kites are Core and North, from 4 to 17 m; boards come from North, Duotone, Cabrinha, RL, RRD and Goodboards (132 to 160 cm), with wave and foil boards too, and harness and shoes come with full rental. To rent, Osmosis asks for VDWS level 5 or equivalent: controlled riding in deep water, going upwind, relaunching and self-rescue.
