Lessons and how they work
Every course is private (one student) or semi-private (two students sharing one instructor). The three levels use the same format: 5 hours for one student or 6 hours for two.

Prices appear in the centre's online booking tool, not on its website. Coaching is booked for 2 or 3 days, rental and storage for 6 to 7 or 13 to 14 days. The centre's main currency is the euro.

The spot
Wind and conditions at the station
The centre is on the northern shore of El Gouna, inside Casa Cook, on what the school calls one of the largest shallow-water areas in the Red Sea. The wind blows side-shore to side-onshore, mainly from the north, so a beginner drifts back towards the beach. There is always enough shallow water for first kite control and body drags, and at high tide the sandbank creates a small pool of flat water for advanced riders. Depth changes with the tide.

A rescue boat stays nearby during sessions, the team is trained in first aid, and lessons use radio helmets. El Gouna hospital is about 5 km away. The fleet: 60 Duotone kites from 3 to 17 m, 40 Duotone boards from 132 to 165 cm, 8 Duotone wings, 6 Fanatic wing foil boards, 12 Fanatic SUPs, and ION harnesses, helmets, wetsuits and shoes. Rental gear is not insured, so the centre recommends VDWS rental insurance at €39 a year.
