Kite Marine has its station on the resort's beach, about 400 to 450 m from the main building on the map listings, so the walk depends on where your room is. The team works every day from 08:00 to 17:00, with instructors, rental gear, launch and landing help, rescue cover for lessons and independent riders, and secure storage for your own equipment (school website).
Tour operators describe the beach as sandy with a gentle entry and a large shallow zone, with a smaller stretch of coral reef, and the school's own listing speaks of shallow water at its stations. The wind blows mostly from the north to north-west and usually side or side-onshore on this coast (local schools). Lessons, rental and storage are paid to the school: they are not part of the all-inclusive price.
Families
For families and non-kiters
The aqua park is the big draw for children, with slides for adults and children, some open only in season. There is a kids club with organised activities, a children's pool with small slides and a playground, and a daily animation programme with evening shows (tour operators). The hotel itself lists a large outdoor pool with a shallow area for children, a pool bar and a beachfront hydro-massage area, and tour operators add a heated pool.
Meals are served as buffets at Rose and Jasmin, with à la carte dinners at Oasis (Oriental), Wazuzu (Asian) and Trattoria (Italian). The bars include a beach bar, a pool bar, a lobby bar and a jazz bar. The spa offers massages and other treatments at extra cost.

Kite Marine runs the station on the resort's beach. It also has stations at Jaz Aquamarine in south Hurghada and at Jaz Casa Del Mar Beach, and runs day trips to the islands and week-long kite safaris from Hurghada marina.
Travel
Location and getting there
The resort is at Km 12 on the El Ahyaa road in north Hurghada, between the town and El Gouna. Hurghada airport is about 16 km away in a straight line, and tour operators quote 20 to 40 minutes by road; El Gouna's kite stations are about 10 km to the north.
