The kite spot near the resort
We found no kite station on the resort's own beach. The nearest are at Palma Resort, a residential complex about 300 m away, where Sultan Kite School and Kite School Egypt share the beach: Trip.com puts the hotel 271 to 290 m from Kite School Egypt, and the Google Maps listings are about 320 m apart. Kite School Egypt calls Le Jardin a short walk away, and Sultan Kite School lists the Hawaii hotels among those close to its station. The resort itself lists kitesurfing among its water sports, and Schauinsland notes that some of these are run by outside providers.
At the station, the lagoon is knee- to waist-deep over sand with no coral and flattest at mid tide, and the wind blows mostly from the north, cross-onshore, building through the day. Sultan has guarded overnight storage, with the daily beach fee, from €9 a day, beach assistants for launching and landing, a compressor, showers and a chill-out zone, and the Medusa Restaurant & Bar is on the beach next to the kite centre.
Families
For families and non-kiters
The all-inclusive package runs from 07:00 to midnight and covers meals in six restaurants, from an international buffet to Italian, Asian, Indian and Greek à la carte, plus snacks, lunch boxes for excursions and all drinks, including local alcohol, at ten bars (resort). Children have the Kids Planet club for ages 3 to 12, with drawing, colouring and cooking, and an aqua park with a kids' play zone; Schauinsland adds that the children's pools are heated in winter.
For adults there are nine pools, a spa, a gym for guests aged 16 and over, tennis, live music and evening shows, a diving centre and boat trips. The beach belongs to the resort, with free loungers and parasols and a jetty to deeper water; Broadway Travel calls it rocky and guest reviews mention stones, so pack water shoes.

The kite schools nearby
Sultan Kite School teaches from Palma Resort, about 300 m from the resort: courses run from a 3-hour introduction (€130) to 12 hours (€400), and a private hour costs €50, equipment and insurance included (website, October 2026). Kite School Egypt works from the same beach.

Location and getting there
The resort is at km 11 of the Al Ahyaa road, in north Hurghada between the town and El Gouna. Hurghada airport is about 20 to 25 km away by road (tour operators), and Kite School Egypt puts the drive to Palma Resort, next door to AMC Royal, at about 20 minutes. Older booking pages and maps may still show the name Hawaii Le Jardin, and Google now marks that old listing as closed: look for SUNRISE Azalea Aqua Park Resort instead.
