What Surf Point offers
The Palm Royale presents Surf Point as its new self-operated water sports station, staffed daily by an international team, for kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling and simply having fun on the water. Its Google listing adds kite and windsurf courses and equipment rental, and gives the opening hours as 9:00 to 17:00 every day.
That is about all that is published: there is no price list, course programme or certification online, and the station does not appear in the VDWS or IKO centre listings. Call or ask at the hotel before you plan your lessons around it.
The spot
Wind and conditions at the station
Surf Point is behind the resort's small marina at the tip of the headland, downwind (south) of Surfmotion's windsurf area. Spot guides and reviews describe a quiet station with a large sandbank and deep water close by: room for first runs on the sand, and deep water off the headland for wing and kite foilers. It takes far fewer riders than the lagoon in front of Surfmotion.

- Both stations belong to the Palm Royale's offer: the hotel lists two water sports stations among its services.
- Surfmotion is the larger, VDWS-listed centre, with a standing area about 2 km long, separate kite and windsurf zones and rescue boats.
- Surf Point is smaller and quieter, run by the hotel itself, with a sandbank and deep water nearby.
- Neither has an online price list at the moment: ask both before you book.
